This is my amazingly talented and newly found friend Kendra Morris, who has been singing her heart out for over 10 years. She is signed to Wax Poetics and this is her second video release, “If You Didn’t Go”. I love the dreamy soulful break-up vibe this record displays, and the video completes the bittersweet concept we envisioned. I was fortunate enough to hang out with Kendra and her team of amazingness in LA when they came to shoot the video in April. They even stopped by the Crooks office to get some gear and meet all my friends/co-workers, who are also her newest fans. Check out the video above and if you missed her first single, “Concrete Waves”, this is a must-see! Definitely one of the most brilliantly conceptualized videos I have seen to date, plus the track is my personal fave. It’s so dope, even DJ Premiere produced the official remix. Peep it here.

Last night Skye and I ventured out to the Tyga & YG show at Club Nokia, featuring Lil Twist. The crowd was pumped to see this guy. Guys were strapped, young girls were screaming and lots of chicks were waiting by the dressing room for a lil’ afterparty action. So many fights, but I guess that’s what happens when all your records are about p*ssy, paper and lap dances. We had some good wholesome rachet fun. Thanks Tyga!

Aruba Marriott & Stellaris Casino along with Diamond Public Relations flew Lisa D’Amato and I out to the glorious island of Aruba, for the opening of their new H20asis pool at the Marriott Hotel. With photo shoots, DJ sets and a fun lil performance to set off the trip, the weekend was starting off right. Lisa was fortunate to stay long enough to enjoy all the other jewels that Aruba had to offer with her beau and she made this video for you to enjoy. Check it out.
